On 23 April 2024. Daniela Tabakova, Regional Representative of the CPD for Montana Region, together with Vanya Yonova, CPD Coordinator, organized and held an open reception in the municipal administration of the town of Brusartsi, Montana Region.
During the reception the regional representative met with Natasha Mihailova, Mayor of the municipality, mayors and deputy mayors of villages in the same municipality. Ms. Tabakova presented the powers and activities of the Commission as well as the Law on the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. and its protected characteristics. The procedure and the way to lodge a complaint with the CPD were explained. Attention was drawn to filing a complaint and signing a declaration under Article 6(2)(2) of the CPD Rules.
Information was given on the ongoing open-ended campaign of the CPD “Accessible Bulgaria”.
