Jaylian Mustafa, Regional Representative of the CPD for Razgrad Region, participated in a regional meeting “Together against prejudice and intolerance”. The forum was part of the project “Strengthening the role of civil society organizations of vulnerable communities in Bulgaria to counter discrimination, intolerance, hate speech and hate crimes”.

 The following topics were discussed at the meeting:

1. Manifestations of discrimination - unequal treatment of Roma in public places. 

 2. Discrimination - unequal treatment of Roma in public institutions, including schools.

 3. Opportunities for counteracting and limiting such manifestations. 

 Recommendations to local authorities and NGOs for more effective interaction against manifestations of intolerance were discussed.
