At the meeting with Nazmieh Luhman - Deputy Mayor for Regional Development and Humanitarian Activities of the municipality of Krushari, the regional representative gave explanations on the Law on Protection against Discrimination, which regulates protection against all forms of discrimination and helps to prevent it. A number of questions were raised on discrimination in different spheres of public life. Joint initiatives were agreed, meetings with mayors, inhabitants of settlements of the municipality of Krushari, meetings with representatives from the Centre for Social Rehabilitation and Integration of People with Disabilities to present the functions and activities of the CPD as an equality body and the promotion of the Disability Discrimination Act. 

 After the reception, the regional representative discussed with Zhivka Georgieva, coordinator of the CPD, how to organize presentation meetings in the field of education. Emphasis was placed on the presentation of Lessons on Tolerance to students and teachers at the Hristo Smirnenski Secondary School - Krushari Municipality, at the beginning of the next school year.
