On 16 May 2024, Shirin Kasab, Regional Representative of the CPD for Dobrich region, held an open reception in the municipality of Shabla with the assistance of Dimitrina Staneva - Coordinator of the Commission.
The citizens who visited the reception room were informed by the regional representative about the activities and functions of the Commission, the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms Act and the protected characteristics set out therein.
The regional representative for Dobrich presented cases from the CPD practice related to protection against discrimination in the exercise of the right to work. The procedure and the way of referral to the CPD in case of discriminatory manifestations in different spheres of public life were explained.
