On April 17, 2024 Irina Petrova, Regional Representative of the CPD for Vidin Region, took part in a meeting discussion within the project “Strengthening the role of civil society organizations of vulnerable communities in Bulgaria to counteract discrimination, intolerance, hate speech and bias crimes”, organized by the Association “Organization Drom”.
The main focus of the meeting was on the treatment of minors with behavioural problems in the system of social assistance and child protection on the one hand and in the law enforcement and justice authorities on the other. Emphasis was also given to hostile speech and prejudice between children and young people of different ethnicities.
