On 27 March 2024. Daniela Tabakova, Regional Representative of the CPD for Montana Region, visited the municipality of Georgi Damyanovo and together with Ivan Peshunov, CPD Coordinator, organized and held an open reception in the municipal administration of the village. During the reception Tabakova met with the deputy mayors of the municipality Plamka Boboycheva and Emil Ivanov and with Tsvetelina Petkova, technical assistant in the municipality of Georgi Damyanovo. The powers and activities of the Commission were presented, as well as the HIPC Act. and its protected characteristics.
The procedure and the way to lodge a complaint with the CPD were explained. Attention was drawn to the submission of a complaint and the signing of a declaration under Article 6(2)(2) of the Rules of Procedure before the CPD. Information was given on the ongoing open-ended campaign of the CPD “Accessible Bulgaria”.
