The Deputy Head of Mission of the Kingdom of Denmark in Bulgaria visited the CPD
On 15 February 2024, Ms Sara Gru Andersen, Deputy Head of the Mission of the Kingdom of Denmark in Bulgaria, visited the Commission for Protection against Discrimination (CPD).

 Ms Andersen was acquainted with the functions and powers of the CPD, with the specificity of the proceedings before the Bulgarian equality body, with the established network of regional representatives. 

Emphasis was also given to the preventive activities of the CPD, the cooperation with international organisations, as well as the projects implemented by the Commission. 

 Sarah Grue Andersen expressed an interest in preparing an analysis of the consistency of the Protection from Discrimination Act (PDA) with Proposal for a Directive 2008/0140 (CNS), and such an analysis was provided. 

 The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Ana Dzhumalieva - Chairperson of the CPD, Prof. Dr. Baki Husseinov - Deputy Chairperson of the CPD, Prof. Dr. Nadezhda Yonkova - Secretary General of the CPD, Elka Bozhova - Director of the SPAP Directorate, Kiril Stankov and Nikola Ognyanov - Chief Specialists of the APMS Department.
