On February 08, 2024 Shirin Kasab, Regional Representative of the CPD for Dobrich Region, held a working meeting with Lilia Krasteva - Chairperson of the Union Organization of the SBU at the KHSB at the “Dimitar Talev” Secondary School in Dobrich. The meeting was held with the Head of the Dobrich University.
At the meeting, Ms. Krasteva was introduced to the activities and functions of the CPD.
Shireen Kasab explained the Law on Discrimination, which regulates protection against all forms of discrimination and helps to prevent it in various spheres of public life. Information was also given on the rules for initiating proceedings before the CPD.
Clarifications were also made on a case in the field of education concerning the abolition of the high school course in "Dimitar Talev", "P. Р. Slaveykov", "Lyuben Karavelov" Secondary School (three secondary schools in Dobrich and their restructuring into primary schools on the proposal of the RDE - Dobrich).
