On 9 February 2024. Daniela Tabakova, Regional Representative of the CPD for Montana Region, organized and held an open reception at the Municipal Administration in Berkovitsa. During the reception, the regional representative met with Galya Georgieva - the new coordinator of the CPD for the municipality, and Maria Prusiyska - junior expert “Humanitarian activities” and coordinator of “People with disabilities” at the municipality of Berkovitsa. The powers and activities of the Commission were presented, as well as the HIPC Act. and its protected characteristics. The procedure and the way to lodge a complaint with the CPD were explained.
Ms. Tabakova visited the Club of People with Disabilities, where she met with Ms. Temenuzhka Mihailova - Chairperson of the Municipal Organization of the Union of the Disabled in Bulgaria in the town of Berkovitsa. A future workshop was planned with members from the municipal organization of the disabled.
