Patriarch Daniel blessed the members and employees of the Commission for Protection against Discrimination for good health and success on June 24, 2025. 

His Holiness expressed his gratitude for the invitation and conveyed his good wishes to the newly-formed Commission, as well as messages in connection with the feast celebrated on this day of the Nativity of St. Nicholas. John the Baptist and the first glad tidings sent by God to mankind, the beginning of his salvation. 

The Chairperson of the Committee thanked everyone for the blessing and the wise words, noting that regardless of the differences that each of them has, be it in outlook, conviction, or any characteristic inherent in the individual, the fight against discrimination is the common cause of all those working there. 

On behalf of the Commission for Protection against Discrimination the event was attended by the Chairperson of the CPD - Elka Bojova, members of the Commission - Ivo Hristov, Zlatina Dukova, Teodora Kamenova, Baki Husseinov, Boyka Cherneva, Lazar Lazarov, Nasko Atanasov and staff. His Holiness was accompanied by Assoc. She presented her book \"Civil Law Status of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church\" to each of the members of the Commission.
