In Stara Zagora, the CPD awarded accessibility certificates
On 09.10.2020 in the hall of the Regional Administration in Stara Zagora, the Commission for Protection against Discrimination (CPD) officially awarded certificates to distinguished sites from Stara Zagora, Kazanlak and the region for their contribution in providing a suitable architectural environment for people with disabilities in accordance with the objectives and criteria of the National Campaign “Accessible Bulgaria” of CPD. 

An honorary plaque of the Commission for Protection against Discrimination (CPD) was awarded to the District Governor Gergana Mikova for providing an accessible architectural environment for people with disabilities in the building of the District Administration and for good work in the prevention of discrimination in all its forms. 

Honorary plaques for active work in ensuring architectural accessibility were awarded to the Deputy Mayors of Stara Zagora Ivanka Sotirova and Krasimira Chakhova, and to the Mayor of Kazanlak Galina Stoyanova. Representatives of various state and cultural institutions were awarded certificates for providing an accessible architectural environment for people with disabilities. 

On behalf of the Commission for Protection against Discrimination, the event was attended by members Ana Dzhumalieva, Baki Husseinov, Zlatina Dukova and Sabrie Sapundzhieva, Secretary General Nadezhda Yonkova and representatives of the administration.
