The CPD awarded a certificate of accessibility to 125 Boyan Penev School in Sofia
125 Boyan Penev Secondary School in Sofia is the first educational institution to which the Commission for Protection against Discrimination awarded a certificate for accessibility within the framework of the launched National Campaign for Accessible Architectural Environment “ACCESSIBLE BULGARIA”. In conjunction with the campaign, the CPD is conducting a survey on the accessibility of urban infrastructure and public facilities in order to highlight good practices and identify irregularities. 

On March 30, 2018, at 125 Boyan Penev Secondary School - Sofia, Baki Husseinov, Deputy Chairman of the Commission for Protection from Discrimination, Zlatina Dukova and Orlin Kolev - members of the Commission, met with Venelina Nikolova - Director of 125 Boyan Penev Secondary School. The meeting focused on the objectives of the National Campaign “ACCESSIBLE BULGARIA”, the prerequisites for its launch, the need for positive measures in favour of people with disabilities that will accompany the campaign. 

Baki Husseinov presented Venelina Nikolova with a certificate for accessibility of the school, according to the goals and criteria of the National Campaign “ACCESSIBLE BULGARIA”.
