On 20 June 2024. Zyuleikha Terzieva, Regional Representative of the CPD for Lovech region, was a guest at the regular session in Lovech of the first in Bulgaria Parliament of Self-Advocates, created by the Bulgarian Association for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (BALIZ). 

The aim of the meeting was to consolidate and build on what has been achieved and to bring the idea of self-advocacy to a wider range of people. Zuleikha Terzieva congratulated the MPs for their drive and determination to defend the rights of people with intellectual disabilities. The voice of these people must be heard because they have something to say to us!
